→ Anonymous whispered : Just how popular has infinite become in Japan? I noticed that they are playing at the super sonic festival in Japan this year which is a pretty big deal for them, especially since they are the only kpop group selected. Maybe that's why their album can be seen all over Japan lately in record stores being promoted in some even. Hmm... but it makes me really happy for them.

I haven’t actually been to Japan since they suddenly got very big there, but judging from the fact that sometimes during The Chaser promotions there were significantly more Japanese fans than Korean (at most it was like at least 100 foreign, mostly Japanese, and 15 Korean) they’re doing very well.

Also, one of my Japanese friends who literally does not care about K-pop at all and sort of hated it for a while contacted me a few months back being like “Hey, Shelbi… This Infinite group is the one you like, right? I like their song…” about BTD. :3

I’m really proud of them. ;^; I do complain about the Japanese fans a lot but most of what you guys hear from me is the bad things… there are a lot of sweet ones, just the bad ones stand out so much more…
